Soft Tissue Sarcoma

Extremity or Trunk

Initial Evaluation

All Patients

• MR, or CT and CTA of primary tumor
• PET

Myxoid liposarcoma, epitelioidsarcoma, angiosarcoma, and leiomyosarcoma

• CT abdomen and pelvis

Round Cell liposarcoma

• MRI or total spine

Surveillance after treatment

• CT or MRI of primary and/or surgical site, and CT Chest every 3-6 months for 2 yrs. then annually

Retroperitoneal or Intra Abdominal

Initial Evaluation

• CT of chest
• CT or MRI of abdomen and pelvis

Surveillance

• CT chest, abdomen and pelvis every 3 -6 months for 2 or 3 years, then annually
