Postdiagnostic Work Up
- CT abdomen and pelvis
- Brain MRI and Bone scan if clinically indicated
Post therapy Evaluation and Surveillance
Stage IA and IB Follow Up if NO Radiation Therapy
- CT abdomen and pelvis
- Years 1 – 3 every 3 months
- Years 4 – 7 every 6 months
- Years 8 – 10 annually
Stage IA, IB and IS Follow Up after Infradiaphragmatic Radiation Therapy
- CT Pelvis 3-4 months for year 1
- Every 6 months year 2
- Then annually for 3 yrs.
Stage IIA and IIB and III after chemotherapy
Stage IIB, IIC, III after primary chemotherapy
- CT Chest, Abdomen and Pelvis
- PET at about 6 weeks after completion of chemotherapy IF CT shows residual tumor
Nonseminomatous Germ Cell Tumor
Postdiagnostic Work Up
- CT abdomen and pelvis
- Brain MRI and Bone Scan if clinically indicated
Follow Up
Surveillance for stage IA and IB
- Year 1 CT Abdomen every 3 months
- Year 2 CT Abdomen every 4 months
- Year 3 CT Abdomen every 6 months
- Year 4 CT Abdomen every 6 months
- Year 6+ CT Abdomen every 12 months
Surveillance after Complete Response to Chemotherapy and/or Retroperitoneal Lymph node dissection (RPLND)
- Year 1 CT Abdomen/Pelvis every 3 months
- Year 2 CT Abdomen/Pelvis every 6 months
- Year 3+ CT Abdomen/Pelvis every 12 months
